PARALLEL TONGUES is the first part of an ongoing collaboration between artists Eigil Forberg and Eirik Abri, establishing a starting point for a 'creative loop' where sound art and painting can circle side by side.
A note inspires a line on the canvas, which again sets of a sequence of sound. An image emerges in an expanding sonic landscape, and the fundament for a process has been created, seemingly out of 'nothing'. The project was presented at Pizdets, a small non-profit showroom for experimental music and art in Oslo (NO), 21st of November 2015.

This album contains excerpts of several improvisational sessions, recorded and mixed live at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art (NO), except "L'esprit d'Escalier" which were recorded at Tromsø Academy of Contemporary Art (NO).
